A bit of History...
Willow Cottage is approxiimately 400 years old, its many beams testifying to its age and with a long history of commercial use. Old documents describe it as a barn yard and the outbuildings were obviously used to keep horses and other farm animals. The garage, for instance, used to be stables with the manger and hay racks still in place and a large loose box where the cart horse would have been kept. The twin guest room was a bakery, the lounge was a shop and lending library, the kitchen was a cafe and the cottage's long commercial history has been continued since 2005 when it became a bed and breakfast.
